About the Founder of “Commonn Cause” Foundation

 

Serhii Berezenko is a Ukrainian public and political figure and the founder of the “Commonn Cause” Charitable Foundation, dedicated to supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Born on April 11, 1984, in Vinnytsia in a family of doctors, he earned his degree from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Kyiv City Council Deputy (2006–2014)
From 2006 to 2014, Serhii Berezenko served as a deputy in the Kyiv City Council, focusing on initiatives in youth development, sports, and social policy.

Head of the State Administration of Affairs (2014–2015)
Between 2014 and 2015, he led the State Administration of Affairs, overseeing the organizational and logistical support functions of Ukraine’s state institutions.

Member of Parliament (2015–2019)
Elected in 2015 to the VIII convocation of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of Ukraine, Serhii Berezenko served on the Committee on Health Care. His legislative work focused on reforming the healthcare system and expanding access to pediatric palliative care. During this period, he also served as an external advisor to the President of Ukraine.

Charitable and Civic Engagement
Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Serhii Berezenko has focused his efforts on supporting Armed Forces of Ukraine . Through the “Commonn Cause” Foundation, he coordinates the delivery of medical, technical and other aid to military units, responding to verified frontline needs with a commitment to transparency, efficiency, and impact.

The Foundation operates with a clear mission: to provide targeted, practical assistance where it matters most, directly to those defending Ukraine.
